OOW Defends MUN 2025 Title

Collaboration, strategy, and a shared passion for global issues have once again propelled Our Own High School – Al Warqa (OOW) to the top. The school emerged victorious at the Inter-School Model United Nations (MUN) competition hosted by CIS from 26–28 September, successfully defending its title as Best School Delegation

This remarkable achievement highlights the collective dedication, talent, and resilience of OOW students, who worked together to represent their school with pride on an international stage. Their success reaffirms OOW’s reputation for academic rigour and excellence in debate, diplomacy, and leadership.

Adding to this accomplishment, Benjamin Alex, a student of OOW, was honoured to serve as Head Chair of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) at CIS MUN 2025 — a role of great prestige and responsibility, underscoring the calibre of student leaders the school continues to produce.

OOW’s victory is a shining example of what happens when teamwork, preparation, and passion come together — a true embodiment of Team Excellence
